Castello Barone Vineyards and Winery is a Veteran, Christian Family owned business. We are a boutique vineyard and winery located in the Swan Creek AVA in Ronda NC, the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. The owners Scott and Elizabeth Barone bring their Italian and French heritage and love of wine to the vineyard. With our Italian and French heritages family is very important to us and one of our favorite family members is our dog Bacchus who will always greet visitors and other dogs with a doggy kiss and shake for a treat! They are both Court of Master Sommeliers foundation certified. People ask us why a vineyard and winery? Growing up in an Italian family really shapes your perspective on life and family. What better way to share your love for something than by doing what you really enjoy? Our mission is to produce handcrafted premium quality wines with minimal impact to the environment. To provide a welcoming, educational, and fun environment to all who come to the winery. As part of our extended family it is our aim to give back and be an active resident in our local community.
